Warrington, UK – 3rd July 2015 – Leading casino operator Caesars Entertainment UK a longstanding customer of Verteda Ltd, has extended its relationship with the company by implementing a new analytics and business intelligence solution using Agile BI technology. This complements Caesars’ previous investments in a Verteda point of sale solution that uses InfoGenesis™ POS software from Agilysys, Inc.

“This is a highly competitive sector where delighting our customers every day is crucial to business success , so we obviously want to optimise our operations in terms of staffing, efficiency and profitability whilst simultaneously delivering the highest levels of customer service,” says Rob Wear, Food & Beverage Director at Caesars UK. “Our Verteda solutions – at the point of sale, and now with analytics and business intelligence – provide new opportunities to achieve our goals in even faster and smarter ways.”

Caesars UK is part of Caesars Entertainment Corporation, the Nevada-based gaming giant that owns and operates more than 50 casinos and hotels around the world. With annual revenues of more than US$8 billion, Caesars is the world’s fourth-largest gaming company. Caesars UK operates leading UK venues including The Casino at The Empire, The Sportsman in London , Playboy Club London, Manchester235, Rendezvous casinos in Brighton and Southend, and the stylish ultra-modern Alea casinos in Glasgow and Nottingham.

Across its properties, Caesars UK offers a wide range of facilities: gaming, restaurants (including a Marco Pierre White Steak house in Nottingham and James Martin Manchester), plus the uniquely branded Carlsberg sports bar, experience packages, and function spaces. The Verteda solutions will support all areas of the business.

“Management decision makers in our casinos and head office will gain new levels of business visibility into our operations, finances and customer activity,” Rob Wear continues. “We’re seeing a real appetite for new levels of knowledge across the business. Previously, we had no facility to view our systems information centrally; Now, we have a centralised system and approach, with information from multiple sources pulled together into a single location and available at the touch of a button.” With initial development focused on Food & Beverages – creating reports and dashboards for areas including revenue, costs and Profit & Loss – Caesars UK plans to later integrate stock and procurement into its solution.
