Hosted solution from Verteda helps Derby County FC ‘ram home’

Warrington, UK – 10 June 2015 – Derby County Football Club is investing in a new integrated hospitality solution for its 33,500-capacity iPro Stadium at Pride Park, hosted and delivered by leading provider Verteda Limited, which is set to include leading-edge point of sale, stock control, customer loyalty, analytics and business intelligence capabilities. Contracted by the club, Verteda will be working with global catering services provider Delaware North across the stadium’s Food & Beverage areas.

One of the 12 founder members of the Football League, Derby County FC - nicknamed “The Rams” – has played at Pride Park since 1997, with the stadium renamed the iPro Stadium in 2013 as part of a sponsorship deal with sports drink company iPro. It has the 16th largest capacity of any English football stadium and the 20th largest of any stadium in the UK. Previously, the stadium had only a limited number of manual tills in public concourses, so the club decided to revamp its hospitality, food and beverage operations - and invest in a new stadium-wide solution.
