Verteda strengthens UK team with specialist in sports and stadia technology solutions
Warrington, Cheshire, UK – 28th November 2017 – The leading provider of innovative hospitality software solutions, Verteda Ltd, has appointed Andrew Wilson as Business Development Manager. Bringing extensive industry experience, Wilson previously led the UK operations of SportsTG, the Melbourne-based technology specialist.
“Andrew has worked successfully with leading brands, delivering a range of added-value solutions to many UK sports and entertainment venues,” says Matthew Prosser, Sales Director, Verteda. “His industry insight and technology experience will benefit existing and prospective Verteda clients, helping them achieve their own operational and revenue goals.”
Wilson joins Verteda from SportsTG, which supplies software and services to the national governing body (NGB) and professional sports clubs sector. His achievements included contracting with the Rugby Football League (RFL) to supply registration and competition management solutions for the entire game, from grassroots to Super League.
Prior to this, he spent 10 years with Advanced Computer Software Group in a senior commercial role in the TALENT Sport team, delivering best-of-breed, ticketing, e-commerce and CRM solutions to UK sports. This included working with well-known brands such as Liverpool FC, Leeds United FC, Rangers FC, Leicester Tigers, Chester Race Course and Silverstone Race Circuits.
