Verteda Shortlisted For Premium & Hospitality Award in The StadiumBusiness Awards 2017.

30 March 2017

Verteda’s Qjacker food and drink pre-ordering solution at National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham working with Amadeus has been nominated for the PREMIUM & HOSPITALITY AWARD in The StadiumBusiness Awards 2017.

Launched in 2010, The StadiumBusiness Awards are the first industry awards for the stadium sector, by the stadium sector. With over 4,000 votes already cast, it’s your opportunity to get your club, venue or event recognised by the best in the industry.

Ian Nuttall, Founder, TheStadiumBusiness said: “TheStadiumBusiness Awards is about recognising leadership, innovation and achievement in the delivery, operation and management of sports facilities globally. Since 2010 we have given awards to some of the top venues from around the world and this year will be no exception. “Our expert panel have come up with an amazing shortlist of nominees for these categories and while we think it might be tough for the industry to choose who should win, I urge them to have their say by voting online in the selected categories.”

Game on: NEC and Qjacker deliver an outstanding guest experience

When award-winning catering business Amadeus, part of NEC Group, required a high-performance solution to serve gamers at the UK’s biggest 24/7 gaming festival, it worked with hospitality solutions provider Verteda Ltd to adapt and extend the industry-leading Qjacker app. This technology deployment demonstrates how the NEC and Amadeus can deliver a truly best-in-class experience for all forms of catering, providing customers with an experience that matches how they want to order their food and drinks.

Tony Baldock, Operations Director, Amadeus (NEC Group) “By introducing Qjacker to cope with the demands of feeding thousands of visitors at the NEC Birmingham we saw an increase of over £30k revenue in three days. This is a groundbreaking food and beverage service, underpinned by technology and tailored to the precise needs of customers. Allowing customers to order instantly, rather than pre-ordering in the traditional way, gives a different dimension to the event and is very important for the visitor experience. We deliver exceptional service by following a pre-determined seating plan, meaning we can locate customers extremely quickly. We worked closely with the organiser’s to determine the demands of the community.”
